On a very rainy Sunday I went to Corkscrew Swamp to take advantage of the vibrant colors and I wasn't disappointed.

This is a totally soaked Red Shouldered Hawk so wet it couldn't fly I away.  Look at the water dripping off its beak.

Soaked Red Shouldered Hawk.

Beautiful wild flower.

Another wildflower.

See how the rain added to the vibrance of this fern and the intertwined vine.

All through the swamp there's this lovely moss hanging from the tree branches.  I love the water droplet.

See how this vibrant fallen leaf contrasts with the board walk in the rain.

The boardwalk look best to me in monochrome.

Wildflower

Lovey flower coming up from the dark swamp water lit by the sunrise.

An Iris like wildflower coming up from the water.

Lettuce Lake.

There's a 2.5 mile boardwalk that meanders through the swamp.

I went to shoot a sunrise but the fog prevented that.
